This morning we said goodbye to our first hosts and then all caught the tube to Victoria Station and walked to the residence of Her Majesty, Buckingham Palace. We were serenaded by classical music and an audio tour which provided an insight into the Palace. We were amazed by the lavish State rooms with their exquisite interiors, ornaments and furnishings. The experience refuelled the Great Australian Debate - to be or not to be part of the Commonwealth! We both discovered that we had missed our calling in life to be princesses, but will fondly recall the day each time we sip our tea and use the coasters that Norman kindly gave each of us.

We then enjoyed a picnic lunch in the creatively named gardens of "Green Park". After that we headed to the RAF museum for an informative tour. We will leave the details to be fleshed out by the boys who are better equipped to describe the technicalities of the aircraft we viewed.
We then gave our second presentation at the Rotary Club of Mill Hill after a lovely reception at the home of Hardev where we were joined by a number of the other members of the Club and sipped on champagne in the conservatory.
