Touring in STYLE

Still a day behind - we'll blame that on time zone differences :)

Got up early to find another beautiful day (still in shock at how good the weather has been!)
Headed into the city (thanks to our wonderful hosts - who braved the traffic for us!) and arrived to Baker St - where we were to catch the "London open bus scenic tour". The 5 of us were over the moon - as we were looking forward to getting on another double decker bus - and also getting to see the wonderful sights of London up close and personal. As we began our travels (with Mike & Colin accompanying us on our trip) we listened to many wonderful and amazing stories from the tour guide - you'll have to ask us about the Lavender........

Feeling like typical tourists - armed with our cameras - clicking away as fast as we could - we soon discovered that the bus took a "scenic" route - even more so than usual - as the city centre was playing host to a cycling day.....causing a lot of mayhem on the already busy roads!

After the tour had finished (and we'd seen all that could be seen) we headed into London Rotary Headquarters - for a meet and greet with the ambassadorial exchangees for 2007/8. Enjoying some scones, a cup of tea and some great conversations, the session ended, allowing us to spend time with our hosts for the evening. Another great day in London - looking forward to spending tomorrow at Neasden Temple as well as Lords - the home of cricket!!!
